The other day, I was reading........................

................this really, really, scary storybook to Grandpa. This story was so scary it would make your hair curl. Behind me, I heard my Dad say "Isn't that interesting." And my Mom replied "Where's my camera." Then there was a flash behind us. We finished the story and went on to another book about Grandpa's favorite winter sport ---.curling.

....................teaching my Dad the proper way to do a cannonball dive. He just doesn't get it. I keep telling him to tuck his knees under his chin --- but no--- he just does it his own way. Oh well, he makes quite the splash anyway. Till later......Jasper.

I let Mom and Dad catch up on their summer reading and relaxing, whilst I supervise them and keep an eye on Jenny. The Banff Centre butterfly garden

The butterfly garden at the Banff Centre (by Canadian artist Mike Macdonald) is at its height of the season. Beautiful temperatures and flowers in full bloom. J and E had a nice pause after visiting the open studios at the visual arts program. (Yes, in addition to the 2 theaters, 2 concert halls, dining room, outdoor amphitheater, breakfast lunch dinner, wine bar, bistro, cappuccino bar, jazz club, fitness center, gym, pool, sauna, physio, climbing wall, ceramic studio, a teepee, 2 art galleries, a publishing house, library and music archives, listening room, the Banff Centre also has a butterfly garden. All are public!)
